My mother in law moved into Grace House in February 2021. At 94 years old moving into a care home during a pandemic was never going to be easy but Grace House’s handling of the move was exceptional. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. She has settled in extremely well with some of her own furniture and is enjoying the interaction with all of the staff. My Mum has been a resident of Grace House for several months now and she’s very happy there. The staff are very caring and she enjoys the food and the company of other residents.
My mother has been here for a year now and although she has found it hard to find herself in a home, she is comfortable. She is always clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and try to make it more of a family environment for their residents.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Te staff made you feel like you were part of their family, not experienced in other care homes.

The staff are absolutely lovely My mum has been at Grace House for two years. She has really got so much better, physically and mentally while being there. The staff are absolutely lovely. I cannot fault any of them, always welcoming, always kind and they go out of their way to do extra things for the residents and welcome visitors, even though they are busy. Staff seem to stay a long time, which I believe shows good management and working relationships and a good atmosphere all round. It was very difficult for everyone during Covid, but they got through it, by managing the state sickness and rules to keep residents safe. Thank you!
Home from Home My father has settled in well to Grace House. This is thanks to the manager and staff who are very caring. The cook has asked and prepared food my father said he would like as his appetite has been challenging. When I go to visit it really seems like a home from home.
LOVE THE FOOD - What a lovely place Grace House is. My mother is a resident and it's such a relief to know she is settled and happy. The staff are so kind and she absolutely loves the food!

It was always a pleasure to visit and chat with the amazing staff who never failed to go above and beyond.
My mum’s husband, who was also elderly missed her dreadfully when mum went into the home and right up until his own passing he was made to feel welcome – given cups of tea and even offered meals there when they knew he was lonely. In fact many of the G H team attended his funeral. When he received his own terminal diagnosis the staff at Grace House worked with Frimley Park Hospital and enabled a final visit to his wife in the home on her 80th birthday. I cannot tell you what that meant to him and us as a family. Gary
Mum has lived at Grace House for 11 years now. She had some challenging behaviours and the staff all underwent specialist training so that they could cope with her. Our Admiral Nurse at the time helped us find the placement and when asked ‘this is our mum – is this the right place for her to go’ answered ‘definitely’!. They genuinely care for her – they treat her like their own mum. She is always clean and well-presented when we visit and whatever we ask for her is never too much trouble. They connect really well with GPs Psychiatrists, Social services and when we thought she was end of life, the care they gave her was second to none. As a family we all agree that this is where we want to be placed when the time comes for us to need residential care. Jo
Grace House is a lovely care home. The staff are very nice and seem to really care for the residents. Food is exceptionally good. Dee the activities coordinator is wonderful at her job.
Mum seems very happy and settled at Grace House. She is treated extremely well and although stubborn at times, the staff work very well with her. Juliana and Ashley are very easy to talk to and the team are aware at all times of mum's daily activities and welfare.
I cannot praise Grace House enough. From their kind and gentle initial assessment in my home to welcoming my mother on her first day with a comfortable and cosy room by calm, smiling and happy staff. Delicious food. Constant activities with much laughter. There is a genuine concern and care for each resident. I too have felt supported in the difficult decision to relinquish care. I can visit at any time but have occasionally arrived only to find that she has been taken out to the pub! I can also bring my little dog to visit. I feel truly grateful that I have found Grace House.
I felt really welcomed at Grace House and put at ease, treated as an individual rather than a patient, encouraged to do all I could but supported and helped along the way. The atmosphere was warm and friendly.
Would not go anywhere else - when I go to visit my relative, I feel so welcome. Grace House is like a second home. Staff are kind, caring and compassionate. Great management, all queries are dealt with efficiently.
Grace House looked after my Dad from early 2019 and right from the outset it was plain to see how Ashley and his team treated him as family. He really enjoyed his time there and was always so jolly and happy whenever we would visit. It was obvious that he was in a very caring environment. I can’t thank Grace House enough for making his last months the most comfortable and enjoyable. The minute you walk in the door you feel at home. It has a lovely homely feel, friendly and welcoming. My mother has been living at Grace House for a year. She is 105. The owner/manager Ashley and assistant manager Kelly run a very efficient home. The staff are excellent – cheerful, friendly and well trained. The food is all fresh and home cooked and provides a balanced diet and caters for my mother’s personal choices. When a medical problem arises, it is seen to straight away. The staff also support the relatives and are very kind. My mum thinks of the staff as her extended family. I can’t recommend it more highly.’ Pat
Warm, Friendly Atmosphere My mother in law became a resident recently with Grace House. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere and is very much a home from home. The staff are all very friendly and the support and care they give to all residents is over and above. The food is of great choice and there is a varied menu. The home is clean and comfortable and you are always greeted with a warm welcome and a cup of tea. I feel assured I have made the right choice in Grace House with the fact my mother in law will have the best care that she needs. There is also a variety of activities and trips out to local places and the pub!
I cannot thank everyone enough at Grace House for the care and support they gave to my father during his short stay between hospital and returning home. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the transition from hospital to Grace House smooth and stress free.
My husband was placed here for respite care from the hospital. We had no chance to visit Grace House so were pleasantly surprised when we got there. It was a lovely atmosphere and very caring staff. He was happy there and interacted with the activities which he hasn't done for a long time.
The staff are without doubt the stars! They do everything they can for my mother, I am so grateful. My mother arrived last summer and it makes the biggest difference to all of us to have her cared for in Grace House Care Home. The home is small and they care about everyone.
