What we’ve been 
up to recently…

Here are some of the trips and activities we
organised before the lockdowns.

Musical Memories Concert

Enjoying the afternoon at the Farnham Maltings.
Music can act as a prompt for recalling memories and reminiscing about the past.
The concert is supported by Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care. All proceeds will go towards the costs of facilitating community events such as Singing for the Mind, Inclusive Cricket, Love2Move and the Sunflower dementia cafes in Farnham, Alton, Guildford and Bordon.

Duke of Cambridge Lunch

A group of residents enjoying lunch out at The Duke of Cambridge.  This is one of our favourite places to eat, alongside The Fox and Spotted Cow in Lower Bourne.

Marwell Zoo

We took a group of residents to visit Marwell Zoo in July. 15 of us had a fantastic day, plenty of fresh air and seeing lots of animals.

BirdWorld

We saw some fantastic birds on our day trip to BirdWorld. 10 residents went on the trip attended by carers and family members came along too. We had a lovely afternoon tea in the café.

Watercress Line

We visited the World War II memorial day at the Watercress Line in Alresford.

Pantomime

A group of residents and carers enjoyed a pantomime matinee performance … “Oh no they didn’t…”
